Shipping policy
This Shipping Policy applies to orders placed on global.marmerbutik.com and shipped outside Brazil. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Last updated: October 2026.
1. Where we ship from
Every piece sold on this store is physically in stock at our showroom in Londrina, PR, Brazil. All international orders are crated and dispatched from there.
2. Carrier and transit times
Our official international carrier is FedEx (FedEx International Priority / Economy, door to door, fully tracked). Typical transit times after dispatch: United States and Canada 2–5 business days; Europe and United Kingdom 2–6 business days; Middle East 3–6 business days; rest of the world 4–10 business days. Transit times are estimates provided by the carrier and may vary with customs clearance at destination.
3. Preparation time
Natural stone needs to be crated properly. Please allow 3 to 7 business days between payment confirmation and FedEx collection. Orders with several pieces, or pieces that need a custom crate, may take the upper end of that range. You will receive the tracking number by e-mail as soon as the shipment is collected.
4. Shipping cost
Shipping is calculated at checkout from the billable weight of the crated piece (actual or volumetric weight, whichever is higher) and your delivery address, using live FedEx rates plus a crating and handling fee. The amount shown at checkout is final; import duties and taxes are already included in the product price, so there are no hidden charges.
5. Large and heavy pieces — shipping by quotation
Bathtubs, pedestal sinks, large statues, tables and other pieces that exceed courier limits are marked "Request a quote" instead of "Buy". For these, we ship by crated air or sea freight and quote individually, including insurance. Please contact us with the piece reference and your full delivery address, and tell us whether the address has a loading dock or a forklift. We reply within one business day.
6. Import duties and taxes included (DDP)
Our prices include import duties, tariffs and import VAT/GST/sales tax of the destination country for every courier shipment. Orders travel on DDP terms (Delivered Duty Paid): FedEx bills the duties and taxes to Marmer Butik, so there is nothing extra to pay on delivery. We provide the commercial invoice, HS codes and country of origin and handle customs clearance with FedEx. Only exceptional charges caused by the delivery itself — for example storage fees if a shipment is refused or not collected, or fees for special delivery requests — are the recipient's responsibility. For pieces shipped by freight under an individual quotation (section 5), the quotation states what is included.
7. Insurance and damage in transit
Every shipment is insured for its full value. Please inspect the crate on delivery and, if there is any visible damage, note it on the carrier's proof of delivery. Report any damage to us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the crate, the packaging and the piece. We will arrange a replacement where one exists (most of our pieces are one of a kind) or a full refund, at no cost to you. Claims reported after 48 hours or without photos may be refused by the insurer.
8. Delivery conditions
Couriers deliver to the ground-floor entrance of the address provided; they do not unpack, carry pieces upstairs, install or remove packaging. Please make sure the piece fits through doors, lifts and corridors at the delivery address, and that someone is available to receive and sign for it. If no one is available after the carrier's delivery attempts, the shipment may be held at a FedEx facility or returned at the buyer's expense.
9. Restricted destinations
We currently do not ship from this store to Brazil (please use marmerbutik.com) or to countries under international sanctions or where FedEx does not operate. If your country is not listed at checkout, contact us and we will check options for you.
